Audio Trip was born from the roots of Del Rio, Texas. Five guys coming together to bring something exciting and different to the queen city. After years of honing their craft as musicians, playing with various bands, the time was right for them to come together. Together the sound they have created is unlike any in quite a long time. Audio Trip fuses Rock, Reggae, R & B, and holding it all together is the group’s roots in Latin music.  All these genres combine to give you an explosion of sound, an Audio Trip if you may.
Aside from the new sound Audio Trip brings, their live show is a spectacle to behold in itself.  From the shredding guitar sound to the thunderous bass Audio Trip’s live show kicks you in the face from the start to finish. Their sound is held together by a dynamic percussion section that never misses a beat. Never holding anything back, the band does everything it has to do to entertain and amaze the crowd. No crowd is too big or too small for the band; they always deliver the same high energy show every time, always leaving the crowd wanting more.
In the short period of time that Audio Trip has been together, since August 2009, the band has accomplished quite a bit.  They’ve managed to play just about every venue in their home town of Del Rio, packing the places every time. Audio Trip has also played all over Texas in places such as San Antonio,Midland, Odessa, Eagle Pass and many other places. Audio Trip is constantly trying to branch out and have their music heard. With the Del Rio community always first on their minds, the band has performed several times for the community. Whether it be playing at local elementary schools for the kids, fund raisers around town, or supporting local organizations, Audio trip is always down to put in the time and effort to help  the community. The band also participated and won a Battle of the Bands competition in San Antonio, beating out several acts from all around Texas. In 2011, Audio Trip was invited to Milwaukee to perform at the Mexican Fiesta.  Audio Trip released their first studio album, in early 2010, which was recorded at Grammy award winning Velazquez studios in San Antonio, TX. The five song CD is just a taste of what is to come from the band, mixing several different styles in one CD.
All this and these boys are barely getting started. So hold on, strap in and relax because you’re about to go on an Audio Trip!
